The Role

We are seeking a results-driven Workshop Supervisor to lead our service department. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing a skilled team of technicians, and ensuring our customers receive the exceptional support we are known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and roster a team of mechanics and apprentices to ensure high performance and a positive safety culture.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee job allocation, scheduling, and labor to maximize workshop efficiency and minimize downtime for our farmers.
  • Customer Relations: Act as the technical point of contact for clients, providing accurate quotes, progress updates, and expert advice.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage tool maintenance, and ensure all repairs meet our rigorous quality standards.

About You

  • Trade Qualified: You hold a relevant Trade Certificate (Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Agricultural Mechanical Technology preferred).
  • Ag-Focused: You understand the seasonal pressures of farming and have experience with advanced machinery.
  • Leadership Skills:  A natural leader who can manage both technical requirements and people.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using dealership management systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong Communicator: Ability to lead a team effectively while building lasting relationships with local farmers.

Spare Parts Assistant 

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Spare Parts Assistant to join our team at our Harvey branch. This is a key support role within our dealership, ensuring our customers and service department receive the right parts, on time, every time. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in Harvey or the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Attend to front counter enquiries and customer phone calls, delivering friendly and efficient service.
  • Parts Sales & Advice: Talk with customers to assess their needs, then recommend and supply the appropriate parts.
  • Parts Sourcing: Identify and source required parts to meet customer and workshop demands.
  • Workshop Support: Supply the Service department with parts as required to keep jobs moving efficiently.
  • Inventory Handling: Unpack incoming freight, check stock accuracy, and ensure proper labelling and storage.
  • Stock Control: Assist with stock takes and maintain organised inventory systems.

About You

  • Mechanically Minded: You have a practical understanding or interest in machinery and parts.
  • Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Team Player: You are confident, show initiative, and work well within a team environment.
  • Computer Skills: Sound level of computer literacy and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to develop your skills.
  • Presentation: Neat and professional personal presentation.
  • Local Candidate: Ideally based in Harvey or surrounding areas.
