Workshop Supervisor
The Role
We are seeking a results-driven Workshop Supervisor to lead our service department. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, managing a skilled team of technicians, and ensuring our customers receive the exceptional support we are known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and roster a team of mechanics and apprentices to ensure high performance and a positive safety culture.
- Workflow Management: Oversee job allocation, scheduling, and labor to maximize workshop efficiency and minimize downtime for our farmers.
- Customer Relations: Act as the technical point of contact for clients, providing accurate quotes, progress updates, and expert advice.
- Operational Oversight: Manage tool maintenance, and ensure all repairs meet our rigorous quality standards.
About You
- Trade Qualified: You hold a relevant Trade Certificate (Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Agricultural Mechanical Technology preferred).
- Ag-Focused: You understand the seasonal pressures of farming and have experience with advanced machinery.
- Leadership Skills: A natural leader who can manage both technical requirements and people.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using dealership management systems and diagnostic tools.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to lead a team effectively while building lasting relationships with local farmers.
